Ribbeck

Ribbeck is part of the town Nauen in the Havelland, which particularly got famous through the poem "Herr von Ribbeck auf Ribbeck im Havelland" by Theodor Fontane.

In Ribbeck there are several sights, like the church and the famous pear tree, also known from Fontane's poem.
History of the Ribbeck family reaches back into the 13th century. 1375 it was mentioned in records of the village Ribbeck for the first time (in the country book of former emperor Karl IV).
